The UEFA PLAYMAKERS project center, implemented by the Ukrainian Football Association and the Ivano-Frankivsk Regional Football Association, is successfully operating at the Horodok Lyceum No. 1 and Chernyatynsky Lyceum under the patronage of the Horodok District Children's Sports School.

The training sessions were conducted by project coaches Vasyl Shevchuk and Mykhailo Krivko, who were assisted by volunteers.

"Thanks to this project, we are conducting training sessions using modern methodologies. The main goal is to create a unique environment on thematic sessions based on Disney movie plots, where football will be accessible for girls in a fun, positive and playful format," — noted Vasyl Shevchuk.

"After the start of the full-scale Russian invasion, the program in Ukraine became a wonderful tool for stabilizing the emotional state of girls. Football and fun help girls feel connected, close, and supported," — emphasized Mykhailo Krivko.

Goals of the UEFA PLAYMAKERS program, which is implemented by the Ukrainian Football Association:

• to introduce girls to football by creating an environment where fun, friends and football are at the center;
• to introduce a new individual coaching approach that uses imagination (inspired by Disney stories and characters) as a tool for training and acquiring football skills;
• to refine girls' life skills, basic movement skills, and teach the basics of football to foster lifelong interest in the sport.
