In December, youth hubs of the UAFA project and regional football associations organize events for children in regions.

Within a project supported by the "New Democracy" Fund (NDF) and the Cross-Cultural Projects Association (CCPA) from Denmark, 18 regions in Ukraine have established youth hubs to provide psychosocial support to children affected by war through football activities. A network of young leaders trained by UAFA is working on implementing their own volunteer football projects for kids in their communities, including components of psychological support and mine safety. Special attention is given to engaging children who have never played sports before, as well as bringing together children with disabilities (VPO) with their peers from host communities through football.
