Today, on October 10, at the age of 65, Vladimir Ivanovich Lazarenko, manager of the scientific and methodological department of the Technical-Sports Department of Ukraine's national teams, passed away.
Today, on October 10 at the age of 65, Vladimir Ivanovich Lazarenko, manager of the Scientific and Methodological Department of the Technical Sports Department of Ukraine's national teams, passed away.
Vladimir Lazarenko was born in Chernihiv. After graduating from Kharkiv Radio-Electronics Institute in 1982 (and completing his postgraduate studies at the Cybernetics Institute named after V. Glushkov in Kyiv in 1988), he worked at the scientific center of Kyiv's "Dynamo," established by Anatoliy Zelenko, from 1986 to 2008. He collaborated with Valeriy Lobanovskyi when the latter worked with national teams of UAE and Kuwait between 1990 and 1996. Since 1996, he has been working with various age categories of Ukraine's national teams. From 2008, Vladimir Lazarenko led a scientific group that collaborates with all national football teams of the country.
The Ukrainian Football Association expresses sincere condolences to the relatives, friends, and colleagues of Vladimir Ivanovich.
