We remind you that the Ukrainian youth team (players born in 2007 or later) under the leadership of Yurii Moroz concluded their competition in the elite round for Euro-2024 among players up to 17 years old with a victory over Slovakia (3:0). Considering that earlier, the blue and yellow team defeated Greece (2:0) and Switzerland (3:0), they became the group 4 winners and secured their place in the final tournament.

The main event, involving 16 teams, will take place from May 20 to June 5, 2024, on Cyprus—across six stadiums in Nicosia, Larnaca, Paralimni, and Limassol. In the final stage, which includes the host country based on March matches results, eight group winners of the elite round qualification and seven second-place teams with the best records will qualify.

The draw for the final tournament will take place in Ayia Napa, Cyprus, on April 3 (start at 19:00 Kyiv time). Sixteen teams will be divided into four groups of four participants. Two top teams from each group advance to the quarter-finals. The semi-finals and final on June 5 in Limassol follow.

Thus, besides Cyprus, the participants of Euro-2024 (U-17) are as follows: group winners—Ukraine, France, Sweden, Italy, Portugal, Denmark, Austria, Poland; second-place teams—England, Wales, Slovakia, Croatia, Serbia, Spain, Czech Republic.

We add that for the Ukrainian U-17 team, this will be their 11th final tournament of the European Championship.
