The Ukraine Olympic squad has been finalized for their upcoming training camp in Hungary and a friendly match against Japan.

Under the guidance of Ruslan Rotan, the Ukraine U-21 team secured a spot in the Euro 2023 semi-finals, marking their historic qualification for the 2024 Olympics in Paris.

As part of their preparation for the tournament, the Ukraine Olympic team will conduct a training camp in Szeged, Hungary from March 17th to 27th, followed by a friendly match against Japan on March 25th in Fukuoka.

Head coach Ruslan Rotan has named the following squad for these preparatory activities:

Goalkeepers: Kiril Fesyun (Kolos Kovalivka), Georgiy Yermakov (Oleksandriya)

Defenders: Anton Bol (Zorya Luhansk), Maryan Faryna (Metalist 1925 Kharkiv), Roman Didyk (Rukh Lviv), Maksym Dyachuk (Dynamo Kyiv), Andriy Buleza (Karpaty Lviv), Oleksandr Martyniuk (Oleksandriya), Yehor Matsenko (Slonsk, Poland)

Midfielders: Eldar Kuliiev (Zira, Azerbaijan), Ivan Zhelizko (Lechia, Poland), Mykola Mykhaylenko, Kyrylo Siheiev, Denys Shostak, Artem Shulianskyi (all Oleksandriya), Oleksandr Nazarenko (Polissya Zhytomyr), Oleksiy Sych, Oleg Fedor (both Rukh Lviv), Artem Bondarenko, Oleksiy Kashchuk, Dmytro Kryskiv (all Shakhtar Donetsk)

It's worth noting that the draw for the football tournaments at the 2024 Olympics is scheduled for March 20th in Paris.

As of now, 12 teams have qualified for the men's football tournament at the 2024 Olympic Games, with Ukraine, Spain, and Israel representing Europe; Morocco, Egypt, and Mali representing Africa; and the United States and the Dominican Republic representing CONCACAF.

The Olympic football tournament will feature a total of 16 teams, with the group stage followed by quarter-finals, semi-finals, a third-place match, and the final on August 9th at the Parc des Princes in Paris.

Brazil is the defending champion in men's football at the Olympics, having defeated Spain 2-1 in the final at Tokyo 2020. However, they did not qualify this time, finishing third in South America.
