The final tournament of the 2024 World Futsal Championship has recently seen four more participants confirmed. The event will take place in Uzbekistan from September 14 to October 6, and these new additions are Brazil, Argentina, Venezuela, and Paraguay. It is worth noting that Ukraine’s national team is already among those who have secured their spots.

Our team earned its license last December after defeating Poland (5:3) in the elite round of qualification. Under the guidance of Oleksandr Kosenko, the players topped their group and secured a direct berth to the World Cup. Alongside Ukraine, Kazakhstan, France, Spain, and Portugal also qualified from Europe. Two more lucky qualifiers will be determined on April 17 after the playoff matches between the Netherlands and Finland, as well as Poland and Croatia. All participants of the final tournament will be known by April 28 following the completion of regional qualification tournaments. The draw will take place in Tashkent this summer; a specific date will be announced later.
