President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyi addressed the nation, outlining plans to create a new international working group that will deal with the issue of our country's Euro-Atlantic integration and reporting on progress in drone and ammunition production.

"I wish good health, dear Ukrainians!

Briefly about today.

Just spoke with the President of Finland. A very warm conversation. Thanked him for supporting Ukraine and our people, our defense. Noted how much Finland has done for its own security — historic things — and for Europe's security as a whole. We have substantive bilateral cooperation — the largest ever since Ukraine gained independence. Also noted how important it is that our countries and all of our partners remain principled in European and Euro-Atlantic structures — regarding our region, Europe’s eastern flank.

Met with Anders Fogh Rasmussen — we are working together on a new security architecture needed for Ukraine, all of Europe, the entire Euro-Atlantic area. Mr. Rasmussen, as NATO's former Secretary General, helped Ukraine with its security guarantee system: its philosophy and possible frameworks were first developed in the expert group led by Rasmussen and Andriy Yermak.

Now we already have a community of 32 states that have joined the "Group of Seven" declaration on security guarantees, as well as our first bilateral agreement — with Britain. There will also be new agreements. We are now finalizing several documents. Very important work.

And today Mr. Rasmussen presented plans for creating a new international working group that will deal with the issue of Ukraine's Euro-Atlantic integration. Bringing our country closer to full NATO membership — this is an unchanging priority. We are gradually implementing it.

Today I chaired a meeting with the Minister of Strategic Industries and Defense Production. Oleksandr Kamishyn reported on the results of work in drone and ammunition production. We are increasing production. Very important — adding new positions, mastering new weapons samples. Domestic production of drones, shells, equipment — this is literally our freedom, the freedom of Ukrainians and Ukraine. Because under such conditions, during a full-scale war, strength is the basis of freedom. And I am grateful to all workers in our defense industry who ensure it — ensuring Ukrainian strength — through their work for defense. Thank you all! By the way, today the minister reported on long-range drone production — this is one of the key tasks for OPK.

One more thing.

Our cities, our communities that are hit by Russia. Kharkiv region, Donetsk, Zaporizhzhia, and Kherson regions. Nikopol, Mariupol. A very difficult situation in many border communities. But every time we do not forget: rescuers of the State Emergency Service of Ukraine, police officers, our doctors, volunteers work in each community, city. Everywhere there are people who save lives. And I thank everyone and each person who works exactly like that — for life.

Today I want to especially highlight State Emergency Service workers in the Kherson region: sergeants Ivan Bocharov and Mykola Lyubchenko, master sergeant Roman Popuriy. And also police officers: lieutenant Yegor Ivanov and senior lieutenant Oleksandr Butenko. In Kharkiv region: sergeant Dmytro Hlosnyak, master sergeant Oleksandr Antoniuk, and colonel Oleksiy Serhiienko. Also police officers: captain Anastasiia Zhizhina and major Artem Romanenko. Donetsk — I will highlight the "Phoenix" team of State Emergency Service: majors of civil protection Eduard Annenkov, Vitalii Salamakh, and Dmytro Dudakov. And also the "White Angels" police team: senior lieutenant Dmitro Solovyov and Gennadiy Yudin.

I thank all of you and your colleagues for self-sacrifice and saving lives.

Glory to everyone who fights for Ukraine and Ukrainians! Who works, helping to fight. Who works, rescuing people and Ukraine.

Glory to Ukraine!"
