To your attention — operational information from the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine as of 6:00 on January 19, 2024 regarding the Russian invasion of our country.

Glory to Ukraine! The six hundred ninety-fifth day of Russia's large-scale military aggression against Ukraine has begun.

The enemy continues to ignore the laws and customs of war, uses tactics of terror, carries out missile and air strikes, conducts shelling with multiple rocket launchers not only at military but also at numerous civilian objects in our country.

During the past day, 127 combat engagements took place. In total, the enemy carried out two missile and 81 air strikes, conducted 45 shelling with multiple rocket launchers on positions of our troops and populated areas. As a result of Russian terrorist attacks, unfortunately, there are injured among civilians. Private and multi-apartment residential buildings, as well as other civilian infrastructure were damaged.

Air strikes hit Vovchansk, Mykolaivka, Holubivka, Ivanivka, Kislivka, Tabayivka in the Kharkiv region; Seriyebryanske forest district, Bihorivka in the Luhansk region; Bogdanivka, Avdiyivka, Georgiyivka, Novomykhailivka, Vodyane in the Donetsk region; Robotyne, Orikhiv in the Zaporizhzhya region.

More than 110 populated areas in Chernihiv, Sumy, Kharkiv, Luhansk, Donetsk, Zaporizhzhya, Dnipropetrovsk, Kherson and Mykolaiv regions were under artillery fire.

In the area of responsibility of OSUM "North" on the Volynian and Polesian directions, the operational situation remains unchanged.

On the Northern and Slobozhansky directions the enemy maintains military presence in border areas, conducts active sabotage activities to prevent our troops from redeploying to threatening sectors, increases mine-explosive obstacles along the state border in Belgorod region.

In the area of responsibility of OSUM "Khortytsia" on the Kupyansk direction, our defenders repelled 18 enemy attacks near populated areas of Synkivka, Petro-Pavlivka, Tabayivka, Berestove in the Kharkiv region.

On the Lyman direction our defenders repelled 15 enemy attacks near Terny and Yamopolovky in the Donetsk region as well as eight more attacks in the areas of Seriyebryanske forest district, Bihorivka in the Luhansk region.

On the Bakhmut direction our soldiers repelled two enemy attacks near Bogdanivka in the Donetsk region.

In the area of responsibility of OSUM "Tavria" on the Avdiyivsky direction, Ukrainian defenders continue to hold back the enemy who does not give up attempts to encircle Avdiyivka. Our soldiers firmly hold their defense, inflicting significant losses on occupiers. Thus, forces of defense repelled 27 enemy attacks in the areas of Novokalynove, Novobakhmutivka, Avdiyivka and another 17 attacks near Pervomayskoye and Nevelsky in the Donetsk region during the past day.

On the Mariupol direction forces of defense continue to hold back the enemy near Krasnogorivka, Mariupol and Novomykhailivka in the Donetsk region where 15 attacks were repelled.

On the Shakhtarsky direction our defenders repelled four enemy attacks west of Staromayorskoye and south of Urozhainoye in the Donetsk region.

On the Zaporizhzhya direction Ukrainian soldiers repelled five enemy attacks west of Verbovskiy and Robotinoye in the Zaporizhzhya region.

In the area of responsibility of OSUM "Odessa" on the Kherson direction, forces of defense continue to take measures for expanding their foothold. Despite significant losses, the enemy does not give up attempts to drive our units from occupied positions. During the past day, the enemy carried out 11 unsuccessful assaults on positions of our troops.

At the same time, Ukrainian soldiers continue active actions inflicting casualties in manpower and equipment on occupation forces along the entire front line.

During the past day, aviation of defense forces carried out strikes against five areas of concentration of personnel, weapons and military equipment of the enemy.

Subunits of rocket troops inflicted damage on one area of concentration of personnel and two command points of the enemy.
