To your attention — operational information from the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine as of 6:00 on December 15, 2023 regarding the Russian invasion of our country.

Glory to Ukraine! The six hundred and sixtieth day of Russia's large-scale military aggression against Ukraine has begun.

The enemy continues to ignore laws and customs of war, uses tactics of terror, carries out missile and air strikes, shelling with multiple rocket launchers not only at military but also civilian objects in our country.

During the past day, 110 combat engagements took place. In total, the enemy carried out four missile and fifty air strikes, conducted 56 shelling operations with multiple rocket launchers on positions of our troops and populated areas. As a result of Russian terrorist attacks, unfortunately, there are casualties among civilians. Private residential buildings and other civilian infrastructure were damaged.

During the night, Russian occupiers attacked Ukraine again, using a S-300 air defense missile and 14 unmanned aerial vehicles Shahed-136/131. Air defense forces destroyed all attacking drones.

Air strikes were carried out in Synykhivka of Kharkiv region; Serbiyske forestry of Luhansk region; Terny, Ivanivske, Andriyivka, Toretsk, Avdiivka, Georgiyevka, Novomykhailivka and Prechystivka of Donetsk region; Perevizhanka of Zaporizhzhya region; Daryivka, Krynychi, Pridniprovske of Kherson region.

More than 100 populated areas in Chernihiv, Sumy, Kharkiv, Luhansk, Donetsk, Zaporizhzhya, Kherson and Mykolaiv regions were under artillery fire.

In the area of responsibility of OSUM "North" on Volyn and Polesie directions, the operational situation remains unchanged.

In the Northern and Slobozhansky directions the enemy maintains military presence in border areas, conducts active sabotage activities to prevent our troops from redeploying to threatening sectors, increases mine-explosive obstacles along the state border in Belgorod region.

In the area of responsibility of OSUM "Khortytsia" on Kupyansk direction, Ukrainian defenders repelled 15 enemy attacks near Synykhivka, Kharkiv region.

In the Lyman direction our defenders repelled an attack by the enemy east of Terny, Donetsk region.

In the Bakhmut direction our soldiers repelled 11 attacks by the enemy near Ivanivske, Klyshchyovka and Andriyivka, Donetsk region. Forces defending Ukraine continue to inflict losses on the enemy in manpower and equipment, consolidating on gained positions.

In the area of responsibility of OSUM "Tavria" on Avdiivka direction, Ukrainian defenders continue to hold back the enemy who does not give up attempts to encircle Avdiivka. Our soldiers firmly hold their defense, inflicting significant losses on occupiers. Defense forces successfully repelled 23 attacks by the enemy east of Novobakhmutivka, Stepanovo, Avdiivka and another 22 attacks south of Severnyy, Pervomayskoye and Nevelskoye, Donetsk region.

In the Mariupol direction defense forces hold back the enemy in the area of Novomykhailivka, Donetsk region. Here our defenders successfully repelled 17 attacks.

In the Shakhtarsk direction the enemy did not conduct offensive (assault) operations.

In the Zaporizhzhya direction defense forces repelled nine enemy attacks north of Pryyutne, west and northwest of Verbove, Zaporizhzhya region.

At the same time in Melitopol direction, Ukrainian defense forces continue active operations to inflict losses on occupiers in manpower and equipment, exhausting the enemy along the entire front line.

In the area of responsibility of OSUM "Odessa" on Kherson direction, Ukrainian soldiers continue to hold occupied positions on the left bank of Dnipro, continuing counter-battery fire and inflicting artillery strikes on enemy rear areas.

During the past day, aviation of defense forces carried out attacks on two areas of concentration of personnel, weapons and military equipment of the enemy. Also during the past day our defenders destroyed one aeroballistic missile Kh-47M "Kinjal".

Subunits of rocket troops inflicted damage to two areas of concentration of personnel, weapons and military equipment, a command post and two ammunition depots of the enemy.
