Note for attention — operational information from the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine as of 06.00 on August 14, 2023 regarding Russia's invasion of our country.

Glory to Ukraine! The five hundred thirty-seventh day of the large-scale military aggression by the Russian Federation against our state has begun.

During the night on August 14, the enemy carried out several waves of attacks with unmanned combat aerial vehicles (UCAVs) and cruise missiles "Kalibr." UCAVs attacked from a southeast direction (Primorsk-Akhmatovsk), while "Kalibrs" — from the Black Sea waters (an enemy frigate in the vicinity of Yalta). In total, the adversary used 15 Shahed-136/131 attack drones and eight cruise missiles "Kalibr."

With the assistance of anti-aircraft missile systems and artillery units, all targets were destroyed by air defense forces. Air defense missile systems and direct support unit weaponry were employed. As a result of the aerial combat due to falling debris from rockets and drones, fires broke out in several locations in the city of Odessa; rescue workers are on site.

Around 05:00 on August 14, near Bakhmut, an air defense missile unit destroyed a hostile helicopter.

Over the past day, Russian occupiers carried out two rocket attacks, forty-three aerial strikes, and approximately fifty-five shelling operations with multiple launch rocket systems against our troops' positions and populated areas. As a result of these Russian terrorist acts, unfortunately, there were casualties among civilians, including children. Residential buildings and other civilian infrastructure suffered damage.

The likelihood of missile and aerial strikes across the territory of Ukraine remains high.

Over the past day, thirty-three combat engagements took place.

On the Volynian and Polesian Directions, the operational situation — no significant changes.

On the Northern and Slobozhansky Directions, the adversary carried out mortar and artillery shelling of over fifteen populated areas, including Galaganyvka, Ukrainianivka, Hrymaych, Novovasylivka in Chernihiv Oblast; Volfinne, Turia in Sumy Oblast, and Ogireve, Okip, Budarki in Kharkiv Oblast.

On the Kupyansk Direction, the adversary attempted unsuccessful offensive actions around Andriyivka in Luhansk Oblast. The villages of Kamyanka, Petro-Pavlivka, Pishchane, Berestove, Kyslyvka in Kharkiv Oblast suffered artillery and mortar shelling.

On the Lyman Direction, the adversary carried out aerial strikes around Bilohorivka in Luhansk Oblast and Veseloye in Donetsk Oblast. Over fifteen populated areas were subjected to enemy artillery fire, including Bilohorivka in Luhansk Oblast and Terne, Seriybranka, Verkhnyokamyanske, Spirene, Dibrova, Zvanivka in Donetsk Oblast.

On the Bakhmut Direction, the adversary attempted unsuccessful efforts to regain lost positions around Andriyivka and Klyshchyivka in Donetsk Oblast. An aerial strike was carried out near Klyshchyivka. Over twenty populated areas suffered from enemy artillery fire, including Minkivka, Hryhoriyvka, Orikhovo-Vasilivka, Chasiv Yar, Ivanivske, Bila Hora, Privillya, New York in Donetsk Oblast.

On the Avdiyivka Direction, under intense air and artillery fire, our defenders continue to hold back Russian troops' advance around Avdiyivka in Donetsk Oblast. An aerial strike was carried out near Avdiyivka. Populated areas such as Oleksandropil, Stepole, Keramik, Novokalynove, Avdiyivka, Pervomaisk, Nevelske in Donetsk Oblast suffered from artillery fire.

On the Marinka Direction, forces of defense continue to hold back Russian troops' advance around Mariinka in Donetsk Oblast. An aerial strike was carried out near Krasnyhorivka in Donetsk Oblast. Over ten populated areas suffered from artillery fire, including Krasnyhorivka, Mariinka, Pobeda, Novomykhailivka, Konstantynivka, Antonivka in Donetsk Oblast.

On the Shakhtarsk Direction, the adversary attempted unsuccessful efforts to regain lost positions west of Starymayorskye in Donetsk Oblast. Aerial strikes were carried out near Blagodatnoye and Starymayorskye. Over ten populated areas suffered from artillery fire, including Vodyane, Vuhledar, Bogoyavlenska, Zolotaya Niva, Velikaya Novosilka, Starymayorsk in Donetsk Oblast.

On the Zaporizhzhya Direction, the adversary attempted unsuccessful efforts to regain lost positions east of Robotinoe in Zaporizhzhya Oblast. The enemy carried out aerial strikes near Chervono, Charivnoye, Pyatykhatskye in Zaporizhzhya Oblast. Over twenty populated areas suffered from artillery fire, including Olhyvskoye, Malynivka, Hulyaypole, Mali Shcherbaki, Charivne, Lobkove, Kamianske in Zaporizhzhya Oblast.

On the Kherson Direction, the adversary carried out aerial strikes near Zelenyy Hay, Otradokamyanky, Bilyozeryky in Kherson Oblast. Over twenty populated areas suffered from artillery fire, including Zolotaya Balka, Velyetsynske, Stanislav, Komishany, Novotyagynka, Kozatske, Antonivka, Tokaryvka in Kherson Oblast and the city of Kherson as well as Ivanivka in Mykolaiv Oblast.

At the same time, Ukrainian forces continue to conduct offensive operations on Melitopol and Berdyansk Directions, consolidate on achieved lines, and carry out counter-battery measures.

The aviation of the Armed Forces carried out twelve strikes against areas with enemy personnel, weapons, and military equipment concentrations as well as six — against air defense missile systems over the past day.

Subunits of rocket forces and artillery inflicted damage on two artillery systems at firing positions, one air defense missile system, one REB station, and one anti-aircraft weapon system of the enemy during the past day.

In total over the past day, Ukrainian soldiers liquidated 530 Russian occupiers, destroyed eight tanks, nineteen armored combat vehicles, twenty-seven artillery systems, one MLRS, two air defense systems, nine tactical drones, nineteen automobiles, and six units of special equipment.
