To your attention — operational information from the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine as of 06.00 on August 13, 2023 regarding the Russian invasion of our country.

Glory to Ukraine! The two hundred and thirty-sixth day of Russia's large-scale military aggression against our state has begun.

During the past day, Russian occupiers carried out seven missile strikes and 47 air raids, conducted 43 artillery attacks with multiple rocket launchers on positions of our troops and populated areas. As a result of Russian terrorist attacks, unfortunately, there were fatalities and injuries among civilians. Residential buildings and other civilian infrastructure suffered damage.

The likelihood of missile and air strikes across the entire territory of Ukraine remains high.

During the past day, 39 combat engagements took place.

On the Volynian and Polesian Directions, the operational situation — no significant changes.

On the Northern and Slobozhansky Directions the enemy carried out an air raid in the area of Hryhorivka, Kharkiv region. Conducted mortar and artillery shelling of more than 20 populated areas, including Klyusi, Chernihiv region; Rozhkovychi, Kindratiivka, Loknya, Ugroidy, Popivka, Sumy region, and Udi, Strilecha, Glybokoe, Okhrimivka, Budarky in Kharkiv region.

On the Kupyansk Direction the enemy carried out unsuccessful offensive actions in the areas north-northeast of Sinkyvka and northeast of Kislivka, as well as southeast of Andriyivka, Kharkiv region. Carried out an air raid in the area of Kislivka and Perehrestne, Kharkiv region. The populated areas of Kupyansk, Masutivka, Kislivka, Berestove, Kharkiv region suffered from artillery and mortar shelling by the enemy.

On the Lyman Direction the enemy carried out air raids in the areas of Bilohorivka, Luhansk region, as well as Seredynsky, Severnyy, Sporny, and Veseloye, Donetsk region. The populated areas suffered from artillery shelling by the enemy, including Nvesne, Bilohorivka, Luhansk region, and Torske, Verkhnyokamyanske, Sporny in Donetsk region.

On the Bakhmut Direction the enemy carried out unsuccessful offensive actions in the areas of Klyshchyvka and White Mountain, Donetsk region. Carried out an air raid in the area of Blagodatne. Over 15 populated areas suffered from enemy artillery shelling, including Minkivka, Markove, Chasiv Yar, Predtechinoye, Dilievka, Toretsk, Donetsk region.

On the Avdiyivka Direction under intense air and artillery fire, our defenders continue to hold back Russian troops in the area of Avdiyivka, Donetsk region. The enemy carried out an air raid in the area of Avdiyivka. Over 10 populated areas suffered from enemy artillery shelling, including Avdiyivka, Severne, Netaylove, Nevelske, Karlivka, Donetsk region.

On the Marinka Direction defense forces continue to hold back Russian troops in the area of Mariinka city, Donetsk region. The enemy carried out an air raid in the area of Krasnogorivka, Donetsk region. Over 10 populated areas suffered from enemy artillery shelling, including Oleksandriopil, Maximilianske, Pobedy, Novomikhaylivka and Yelizavetovka, Donetsk region.

On the Shakhtarsk Direction the enemy made unsuccessful attempts to regain lost positions in the area of Urozhainoye, Donetsk region. Over 15 populated areas suffered from enemy artillery shelling, including Bogoyavlenska, Zolotaya Niva, Blagodatne, Staryy Mayorivske, Novosilka, Novopil, Donetsk region.

On the Zaporizhzhia Direction the enemy carried out artillery shelling of over 25 populated areas, including Levadne, Olhyvskoye, Malynivka, Hulyaypole, Pavlivka, Kamianske, Zaporizhzhia region and Nikopol, Dnipropetrovsk region.

On the Kherson Direction over 25 populated areas suffered from enemy artillery shelling, including Mikhailivka, Veselo, Ivanivka, Antonivka, Berehove, Veletsenske, Kherson region and Kutsurub, Ochakiv, Mykolaiv region.

At the same time, Ukrainian defense forces continue to conduct offensive operations on Melitopol and Berdiansk directions, achieved partial success in the area of Robotino, Zaporizhzhia region, consolidate on gained lines, carry out counter-battery measures.

Among occupiers, panic moods are growing and the number of desertion cases is increasing. Thus, in the temporarily occupied populated point of Horodnostayivka, Kherson region, military patrols and servicemen of the Russian occupation forces' commandant's office conduct a house-to-house search for deserters among their own servicemen. It is noted that such actions are carried out by command due to a significant increase not only in the number of deserters but also people using alcohol and narcotic substances among newly arrived military personnel who are located in the populated point and its surroundings.

The aviation of defense forces carried out 10 strikes on areas of concentration of enemy manpower, weapons, and military equipment during the past day.

Subunits of rocket troops and artillery inflicted one air defense missile complex, one ammunition depot, one radio-electronic warfare station, and three artillery systems on firing positions of the enemy over the course of a day.

Overall, Ukrainian soldiers liquidated 560 Russian occupiers during the past day, destroyed three tanks, eleven armored combat vehicles, nineteen artillery systems, five anti-aircraft missile systems, three tactical unmanned aerial vehicles, twenty cars, and one unit of special equipment.
