In yesterday's semifinal for fifth-eighth place, the team coached by Mykola Kostenko and Oleksandr Korniychuk lost to Azerbaijan in extra time (6:7) and now face Poland for seventh position.

The first two periods of the match passed without any goals. In the third, however, Ukrainians managed to score only after conceding two goals. However, after Ivan Glutsyuk's goal, Maxim Voytok scored twice more, and the Ukrainian team secured a narrow victory—3:2.

Thus, our team secured seventh place at the III European Games.
