The women's national beach football team of Ukraine is playing in the semi-final match of the III European Games, which are currently taking place in Poland.

In the group round of the beach soccer tournament at the III European Games in Tarnów, Yuri Klimenko's protégées lost to Spain (4:6) and beat Italy (2:1). Our girls earned three points, and their final position and qualification for the semifinals depended on today’s match result between the Spanish and Italian teams.
This crucial game for our tournament fate ended in a 0-0 draw after regular and extra time, with Spain winning on penalties (4:2).
Thus, Ukraine's team secured second place in Group B and will participate in the semifinals of the European Games.
