Poltava «Vorskla» exited at the second qualifying round stage, conceding to Swedish AIK after two matches.

Luhansk «Zorya» halted in the third qualification round, allowing Romanian «Universitatea» to proceed further.

And «Dnipro-1», which ended up in the CL after failing in the Europa League qualifiers, concluded their tournament run in the knockout stage, losing to Cypriot AEK on aggregate.
