President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky addressed the nation, speaking about necessary strong steps by the state regarding adherence to principles of justice and the necessity of preserving unity in the free world.

"I wish health to all dear Ukrainians!

The first and foremost thing I want to say today is about justice. Justice, by the way, is one of the foundations of solidarity.

In a society that feels justice, people's unity is always stronger.

Today, the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine dismissed from his post an acting minister who was uncovered by NABU investigators.

Law enforcement agencies have all the opportunities to conduct an investigation and direct it to court.

And I want this to be our signal to everyone whose actions or behavior violate the principle of justice.

Of course, now the main focus is on defense issues, foreign policy questions, and war matters.

But that does not mean that I do not see or hear what people are saying at various levels - both in central areas and in regions.

And this week will be a time for appropriate decisions. These decisions have already been prepared. I don't want to announce them now, but everything will be fair.

I understand what has drawn people's attention. We will carefully examine each situation in detail.

This concerns energy and procurement issues. This concerns relations between the central government and regions. This concerns procurement for the military, etc.

Society will receive full information, while the state will take necessary strong steps.

In addition, there is progress in our special services' work regarding individuals who deserve at least sanctions for their activities against Ukraine, its independence, and the Ukrainian people. Appropriate measures will also be taken.

And this is not something temporary; it's real reaction. It's specifics. This is what we all expect from our institutions. From the state.

I want to make clear that returning to how things were before, to how people close to state institutions or those who spent their lives chasing after positions lived - this return will not happen.

Thank you to law enforcement officers who protect the law and interests of the state, ensuring justice!

Thank you to journalists who investigate all facts and establish a complete picture!

We all have our part to play for our unity. The strength of society and the power of the state are united by justice.

And one more thing. Today in Ukraine - in Kyiv, Bucha, Borodyanka - our friend Boris Johnson was here. A person who doesn't need much introduction.

We spoke with students at Shevchenko University together with him.

This is also quite symbolic - on our Unity Day, the day of unity. Symbolic because the struggle for freedom unites different people and nations.

And our Ukrainian solidarity, our historical unity that we achieved in the first hours of February 24th, we have actually brought into international relations over the past year.

The free world has united as it hasn't been for a long time.

It is very important to preserve unity. To do everything so that people who value freedom are together, effective.

We are interested in Boris and other people like him dealing with issues of supporting Ukraine around the world, issues of defending freedom.

This is something all Ukrainians should remember: Britain's contribution to our defense is extraordinarily significant.

I thank everyone in Britain for it, absolutely all our friends there, the entire society.

Thank you Prime Minister Rishi Sunak for his strong decisions and policies that make the free world stronger.

This is how we should all make this year. A year of justice for Ukraine. A year of unity for us all in the name of freedom and victory. A year of strength for Ukraine and everyone who values freedom.
