Note to your attention — operational information from the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine as of 06.00 on January 21, 2023 regarding the Russian invasion of our country.

Glory to Ukraine! The three hundred thirty-second day of the Russian large-scale invasion has begun.

The threat of Russian air and missile strikes remains throughout all of Ukraine.

During the day, the enemy carried out seven missile (three of which were on the cities of Kramatorsk and Hulyaypole) and 15 air strikes. Also conducted 68 shelling from multiple rocket launchers, including — on civilian infrastructure in Nikopol.

Over the past day, units of the Defense Forces repelled attacks by occupiers in the areas of the populated places Novoselivske, Plyshanka and Chervonopopivka in Luhansk Oblast and Bihorivka, Rozdolivka, Vasyukivka, Krasna Gora, Yagodyne, Bakhmut, Predtekhine, Vodiane and Mariinka in Donetsk.

On the Volynian, Polesian, Northern and Slobodian fronts, certain units of the enemy are deployed along the border with Ukraine, but no offensive groupings of the enemy have been detected. With forces and means of the Russian Federation's armed forces transferred to Belarus, active reconnaissance of objects in neighboring states, including Ukraine, is underway.

From artillery and mortar fire by the enemy, areas around populated places Volkhynivka in Sumy Oblast, as well as Hryhoriv Kozatskyi, Veterinarnoe, Strelcha, Zeleno, Terneva, Staritsa, Ogircheve, Vovchanske, Vilcha, Budarky, Krasnoe Perechoye, Kamianka, Figolivka and Dvoriche in Kharkiv Oblast were affected.

On the Kupyansk direction, areas around populated places Tavilzhanka, Vilshana, Orlyanka, Kupyansk, Krokhmalne, Pishane, Berestove and Vishnevye in Kharkiv Oblast, as well as Novoselivske and Stelemahyvka in Luhansk were shelled from tanks, mortars, artillery and multiple rocket launchers.

On the Lyman direction, enemy shelled with all available fire means areas around populated places Novoyegorivka, Makieyivka, Nevsko, Plyshanka, Golikovo, Chervonopopivka, Kremenna and Dibrova in Luhansk Oblast.

On the Bakhmut direction, areas around populated places Verkhnyokamyanske, Viyimka, Spirene, Bihorivka, Rozdolivka, Solvedar, Krasna Gora, Bakhmut, Chasiv Yar, Klyschyivka, Bila Hora, Pivnichne, Zalizne, Kurdyumivka and Mayoriske in Donetsk were affected by fire.

On the Avdiivka direction, areas around populated places Kamianka, Avdiivka, Vesele, Vodiane, Perevalsk, Krasnogorivka, Georgiyivka, Mariinka and Novomykhailivka in Donetsk were hit by enemy fire.

On the Novopavlivka direction, enemy shelled Vuhledar, Bohoiavlennya and Velika Novosilka in Donetsk.

On the Zaporizhzhia direction, areas around populated places Vremivka and Novopil in Donetsk, as well as Olhyvsko, Maliyanyvka, Hulyaypole, Charivne, Bihorlya, Novodanilyvka, Orikhiv, Maly Shcherbakyi, Kamianske and Plyavny in Zaporizhzhia were affected by tank, mortar and artillery fire.

On the Kherson direction, occupiers shelled Marhanets and Nikopol in Dnipropetrovsk with artillery and multiple rocket launchers. There are casualties among civilians.

The enemy suffers losses daily in the war they have unleashed. According to available information, over 300 wounded occupiers are being treated only at the surgical department of the city hospital in Starobilsk, Luhansk Oblast.

To provide medical assistance, Russian occupiers not only use medical facilities in temporarily occupied areas of Kherson Oblast that are already overcrowded but also occupy kindergartens as field hospitals. Also, at the central hospital in Nyzhnie Syrohozyi, all local doctors were replaced and now only treat personnel of the Russian occupation forces.

A similar situation occurred in Kalanchak, where local doctors were fired, and medical staff from Crimea was brought in. Local residents are forbidden to come to the hospital.

The aviation of Ukraine's Defense Forces carried out 18 strikes on enemy concentrations during the past day and four — on positions of their air defense missile systems.

Our defenders also shot down two reconnaissance drones "Orlan-10" and "Merlin-VR."

Units of our rocket forces and artillery hit an enemy command post and two areas of concentration and ammunition depots.
