Kateryna Monzul finished second in the survey that determined the best female referees in the world for 2022

Experts and journalists from all continents participated in the referendum to determine the best female referee of 2022, as conducted by the IFFHS (International Federation of Football History and Statistics).

Experts and journalists from all continents participated in the referendum to determine the best female referee of 2022, which was conducted by the IFFHS (International Federation of Football History and Statistics).

As in the previous three years, Frenchwoman Stéphane Frappart secured a clear victory in the survey. Ukrainian Kateryna Monzul took second place.

In 2022, Monzul officiated at matches of Ukraine's Vbet League, the Women’s Euro-2022, where she notably handled the final between England and Germany, UEFA Nations League matches, Conference League games, the women's World Cup 2023 qualifier, the Women's Champions League, and Italy's Serie A.

It is worth noting that in 2015, Kateryna Monzul was named the best female referee according to the IFFHS poll results.
