President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky addressed the nation, sharing the initial outcomes of his visit to the United States and meeting with President of Poland Andrzej Duda.

"I wish you good health, dear Ukrainians!

Today's address will be very short — in unusual circumstances, but as always, about what we have achieved.

We are returning from Washington with good results. With what will truly help.

When we say "patriots" in Ukraine and the United States, we mean the defense of the state and people equally. This issue is resolved for Ukraine. There is financial support. And there are other agreements — about them a little later.

I thank President Biden for his help, international leadership, and focus on victory.

Thank you to the Congress of the United States of America — both chambers, both parties, everyone who supports Ukraine, everyone who wants victory as much as we do. Victory will be ours!

Glory to every one of our soldiers! Glory to everyone defending our state! We are bringing decisions to Ukraine, to the Donbas, under Bakhmut and to the south that our defense forces have been waiting for.

On my way home, I met with President of Poland Andrzej Duda. I thanked him, all Poles, the city — our rescuer, Lublin, for everything they do for Ukraine and our social protection, Europe's defense.

Today in a special format, one-on-one, we discussed with Andrzej our cooperation. I told him about my feelings in the United States, about our strategic vision for next year... We are preparing, strengthening our joint forces.

And one more thing. Today is a professional holiday for people who give us normalcy, modernity and exactly that level of prosperity which a state-terrorist wants to destroy. Today is the day of energy workers. I congratulate all of you, defenders of Ukrainian light, and thank you for your work. We are also bringing new agreements to help you!
