President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky addressed the nation, speaking about the good work of our air forces and about the response to Russian terrorists on the battlefield and in international relations.

"I wish health, dear Ukrainians!

At this time, restoration works are still ongoing in those regions where today there were strikes by Russian missiles. We are doing everything possible to restore energy and water supply. And we will.

There are no such missiles in the hands of Russian terrorists that could hit Ukraine's desire to live, to live civilizedly and care for each other. And if anyone there at the Kremlin has listened to their mad propagandists and decided that darkness in Ukraine would help pressure Ukrainians, then let them not be surprised later by their losses when they see how Ukrainians conduct 'negotiations' in the dark.

Today our air forces worked very well, as did all those involved in protecting our skies. Most of the targets that terrorists had designated were saved. Today alone, terrorists used 55 cruise missiles for a massive strike, and 45 of them were shot down.

I thank everyone involved in air defense ('South', 'North', 'East' and 'West') and all subunits of the defensive forces who are engaged in protecting our skies for this result.

In addition, today four Russian helicopters were shot down: three attack Ka-52s and one Mi-8.

Of course, we will continue to strengthen our air defense. But already now, for every ten hits by terrorists, they have to spend at least four times more missiles. Even worse figures are shown by Russia in drones, especially those supplied to it by its allies from Iran. And the world sees this. Sees that the former 'second army of the world' is already not even 22nd in terms of effectiveness. And we will do everything so that it goes down even further into second hundredth place. And it will.

I would like to especially highlight now subunits and employees of Ukraine's State Emergency Service, who last week and today have been dealing with the consequences of terrorist attacks. They worked despite the threat of repeated strikes and extinguished dozens of fires.

A big thank you also to all energy workers, communal service staff, local self-governments, regional administrations - everyone and every one who is restoring normal life.

No less a thank you to those people among us who at each level guarantee that the response to terrorists will be inevitable.

There will be a response on the battlefield. And I want to remind that the total number of losses in personnel for Russian occupiers is already almost 72,000.

There will also be a response to terrorists in international relations. The complete international isolation of the state-terrorist - this is now simply a matter of time.

There will be a response even on the criminal responsibility plane - all those involved in Russian terrorism, all who organized, carried out and justified it, will answer for this before an international court.

Each new Russian strike against our civilian objects only makes and brings closer the international consensus regarding Russia's responsibility.

And fragments of a Russian missile that fell on Moldovan territory only remind us how important it is to protect ourselves together from this evil - from Russism, which does not recognize either state borders or human values.

Today the Prime Minister of the Czech Republic visited Ukraine - one of our greatest friends.

The Czech Republic is currently holding the presidency in the European Union Council, and this is how Russia treats European structures: during the visit of a Czech representative - 55 cruise missiles. However, whatever they may think in Moscow, Ukraine cares for itself and does its own thing.

We signed today with Mr. Prime Minister a special declaration regarding our country's Euro-Atlantic integration. The Czech Republic confirmed that it supports Ukraine's NATO membership. The declaration also contains specific directions for our cooperation to implement NATO standards in Ukraine.

We are starting work on signing such declarations with all Alliance members.

I spoke with German Chancellor Scholz. Thanked him for the IRIS-T air defense system provided, informed about the results achieved by this German system. Discussed possibilities of increasing Germany's support for Ukraine, including in restoring our infrastructure after terrorist strikes.

Also spoke with UN Secretary-General Antonio Guterres. Informed him about a new level of escalation due to Russian actions.

Terror against Ukrainian energy objects and also against the backdrop of Russia's attempts to exacerbate the global food crisis - these are obvious proofs that Russia will continue to oppose the entire international community. And if so, then there is no place for Russia in the UN Security Council and all other international structures.

Thank you also to Mr. Scholz and Mr. Guterres for supporting our actions aimed at preserving the export grain initiative and preventing the unfolding of large-scale famine in parts of the world. It is very important now not to allow this global destabilization that Russia wants. And we can prevent it.

Signed today three decrees on awarding our soldiers. In total, 406 servicemen of Ukraine's Armed Forces were awarded state awards.

I would like to especially thank the fighters of subunits of the National Guard of Ukraine who are performing tasks in Donetsk region. They perform them accurately and effectively. Skillfully defend positions and significantly pressure on the Russians. Thank you, boys, for this!

Thank you all who are teaching Russia to think that neither an army nor terrorism nor anything else will allow Russia to subdue Ukraine!

Glory to all our heroes!

Glory to our wonderful people!

Glory to Ukraine!»
