The Ukrainian Football Association has appealed to UEFA and FIFA requesting that they prevent the friendly match between Russia and Bosnia and Herzegovina, scheduled for November 19 at the «Gazprom Arena» in Saint Petersburg.

The UAF also sent a letter to the Football Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina explaining why this match should not be held.

"We remind you that due to Russia's military aggression against Ukraine, all Russian teams have been excluded from participation in all international official competitions organized by FIFA and UEFA. In such a situation, the decision of the Football Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina appears as if it is aimed at supporting the actions and deeds of the Russian government regarding the continuation of war in Ukraine. We ask you to reconsider this decision, which harms the image of your country and relations between our associations," — the letter from UAF reads.
