Note to your attention — operational information from the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine as of 06.00 16.07.2022 regarding the Russian invasion into our country.

Glory to Ukraine! The one hundred and forty-third day of the heroic resistance of the Ukrainian nation against the Russian military invasion has begun.

Russian occupiers continue to inflict rocket attacks on civilian objects within the territory of Ukraine.

On the Volyn and Polesie Directions no significant changes in the situation or activities of Belarusian military units near the border with Ukraine have been noted.

On the Northern Direction the enemy shelled our positions around Zaruzych, Starikovo and Building from mortars in Sumy Oblast.

On the Kharkiv Direction the opponent focuses its main efforts on preventing the advance of our troops. Carried out an air strike near Mospanovoye. Conducted artillery shelling around the towns of Kharkiv, Pitomnik, Novopokrovka, Protopyvka, Ruski Tishky, Duvanka and Korobochkino.

On the Slovyansk Direction the enemy carried out an air strike near Bogorodichne.

Artillery shelling was recorded around the towns of Dibroveno, Chepyl, Konstantinivka, Novomikhailivka, Mazanivka, Bogorodiche, Mikhilske and Gusarivka.

On the Donetsk Direction the enemy shelled around Zakitne, Severskaya, Grygoriyevka, Tetyanivka, Donetsk and Raygorodka. The occupant's assault attempts towards Spirne — Ivan-Daryivka were successfully repelled by our defenders.

On the Bakhmut Direction the opponent carried out air strikes near Berestevo and New York. Conducted artillery shelling around the towns of Berestevo, Soltar, Zvanivka, Semihirya.

The enemy's attempts to storm towards Dolomitne — Novobakhmutskoye and Dolomitne — Semihirya were halted by the accurate fire of Ukrainian soldiers. The same fate befell the occupiers in the direction of Roti — Verkhnya. The opponent retreated. After regrouping, they resumed their advance on Vuhlehirska TES, combat operations continue.

On the Avdiivka, Kuraivka, Novopavlivka and Zaporizhzhia Directions with the aim of driving our units from occupied positions, the enemy carried out air strikes near Avdiivka. Conducted artillery shelling around the towns of Novobakhmutivka, Avdiivka, Novomikhailivka, Pavlivka, Golden Field, Vremyvka, Novopil, Zaliznychnye, Novoyakovlivka and Malinivka.

On the South Buzhok Direction the opponent carried out aerial reconnaissance with UAVs. Shelled with artillery around the towns of Osokorivka, Trudolyubivka, Partizanskoye, Pervomayskoye, Blagodatne, Murakhivka, Kvitenye, Oleynivka, Stepova Dolina, Oleksandrivka and Tavriyske.

With the aim of removing seized property by sea route, Russian occupiers are trying to restore the operation of maritime ports on the coast of the Azov Sea. Three carriers of high-precision weapons remain in readiness for missile strikes against objects within Ukraine's territory.
