The Belgian "Brugge" defender of the Ukrainian national team, Eduard Sobolya, participated in a friendly match against the Danish "Copenhagen" as part of preparation for the 2022/2023 season.

The format of the match included two halves of 45 minutes each and an additional conditional extra time lasting 30 minutes. The Ukrainian player appeared on the field in the 15th minute, replacing a teammate who was injured. Our player was substituted out in the 91st minute of the match, which ended in a draw — 2:2. During the course of the game, Sobolya's team led — 2:0.

Brugge plans to play their last friendly match on July 13 against the Dutch "Utrecht."

The black-and-blue team will play their first official match of the new season on July 17, when they will face "Gent" in the Belgian Super Cup.
