The morning training session of the blue-and-yellow team on Monday in Bregalnica was practically a general rehearsal for the match against Scotland, as there is still one official practice remaining — on the pitch at Hampden Park. After warming up and doing squares, the team polished elements of their tactical model, which the coaching staff and players have been working on throughout the final stretch of preparation.

The decisive phase of preparation was commented on by defender Eduard Sobolev of Belgian club KRC Genk: "Today we are departing for Scotland, and everyone is very serious. We had a tactical session, worked on some elements, such as standard positions. Everyone is in good spirits, and we still have several days to fully prepare for the decisive game.

We are very grateful to the Slovenians who provided us with wonderful hospitality. Although I've only been here for two days, but right away felt the warm atmosphere. Everyone around is very kind and treats us as best as possible. Big thanks to them!

The last time I was in Scotland was at the European Championship. Then we lost to Sweden, so my impressions of this country are pleasant, and I hope for the same this time. We will hope that Hampden Park is lucky for us."

As a reminder, the semi-final match of the 2022 World Cup qualifier between Scotland and Ukraine will take place on June 1 in Glasgow at Hampden Park (9:45 PM).
