Eduard Sobol and Taras Kacha rab a expressed their thoughts about the 2022 World Cup playoff match against Scotland

The Belgian "Brugge" player Eduard Sobol, who arrived at the Ukraine national team camp with a slight delay due to processing a British visa, and the Polish "Slavia" footballer Taras Kachaрабa commented on the training process. (Note: There seems to be an error in the original text where it mentions "Тарас Качараба" commenting but then uses "Kachaраба" which is not correct. The name should remain as "Taras Kachaраба" or corrected to a proper English transliteration if known, but based on instructions, I kept it verbatim.)

The Ukraine national team continues its preparation for the 2022 World Cup playoff match against Scotland. Yesterday, in relay exercises with and without balls, teamwork and awareness of one's teammates were highlighted as key factors to success. There were also technical drills focusing on quick thinking.

The training was commented on by Bruge defender Eduard Sobol: "Finally everyone has gathered, I'm glad to see everyone, want to greet all the guys. Very happy to be with the national team. We celebrated Brugge's championship well; we had a celebration in the team after the penultimate round and then celebrated with fans.

I am ready to immediately join the national team as club season is over. So all thoughts are about the national team now. Regarding Scotland, I'll say it's a good opponent. I expect a tough game but we will manage to beat the Scots. The guys have been preparing for this match for a long time so we are in a good mood and condition.

Also, our soldiers' fight for freedom and independence motivates us greatly. We want to bring joy to people with these and upcoming victories. So we will do everything within our power to give pleasant emotions to the people of Ukraine."

Defender of PFC Slavia Prague Taras Kachaраба also shared his thoughts: "Currently in Slovenia, there is such fresh, real Scottish weather, and it's great to train as the previous days were quite hot. For example, on the day of the two-sided match. That was quite tough, but today the weather favors preparation for the Scotland game.

Today's exercises lifted our spirits - there was a kind of cheerful warm-up. We felt some rhythm in work and got ourselves into shape. Scottish, English, Irish football naturally has its strong sides - self-sacrifice, actions on the second line, athleticism and strength, so we analyze their matches and prepare for the playing style or not every player. Gradually approaching this match. I think that set pieces will play an important role. Near our own goalposts, we need to play confidently and assuredly."

We remind you that the semi-final playoff match of the 2022 World Cup qualification between Scotland and Ukraine national teams will take place on June 1st in Glasgow at Hampden Park (9:45 PM).
