The national team consisting of 21 players worked on specific game elements yesterday. The coaching staff emphasized the execution of standard positions and series with finishing headers.

Goalkeeper Anatoliy Trubin of Donetsk Shakhtar shared his impressions from training in Slovenia.

"Such specific trainings are very important because standards account for almost 50% of goals. I am really glad to be with the national team here, where there is interesting intensive work. We have a strong group, four goalkeepers gathered together. But this is good as it strengthens competition in the team since everyone wants to play and accordingly gives their all. Also, we are building relationships among ourselves, which is beneficial for both goalkeepers and the entire team."

"Of course, we are different goalkeepers with different schools, so each has their strengths and weaknesses. We work together and become better. It's important to keep working. This gathering changes us; we have never been together in such intense times before. It is very important for the team to have a good microclimate. We unite to represent one whole, one country. In the Ukraine national team, there is Cossack spirit!"— emphasized Anatoliy Trubin.

Recall that the 1/2 final match of the qualification for the 2022 Championship between Scotland and Ukraine will take place on June 1 at Hampden Park in Glasgow.
