The second week of training in Slovenia was symbolically kicked off with a team photo featuring the flags of Ukraine and loud shouts of "Glory to Ukraine! Glory to Heroes!"
In this way, the boys conveyed greetings to the defenders of Ukraine and the entire Ukrainian nation, which continues its heroic struggle against occupiers. The players are heart and soul with their homeland—maintaining an unbroken spiritual and emotional connection with their compatriots.

As for the football aspect, it continued with work on specific elements of play. Specifically, today's morning session saw head coach Oleksandr Petrakov and his assistants proposing to players the practice of standard situations. The main part of the training was preceded by an interesting warm-up. The fitness trainer Vyacheslav Ruzhenets gave the task of passing the ball to each other with hands and finishing with headers. The task gradually became more complex, culminating in a series where passes and shots were made only using heads. Such agility on a limited pitch, with competitive effect, nicely warmed up the players, providing positive emotions.
After this, it was already possible to calmly move on to working on standard situations.

In the evening, the climate reminded us once again of itself: a midday sun turned into a cold rain that escalated into a downpour. The weather somewhat adjusted training plans. The team was divided into two groups: one worked in the gym, and the other—by preference—practiced shots or played table tennis. Twenty-one players participated in the training—Viktor Tsygankov and Oleksiy Hushchylak continue to recover from injuries.

Tomorrow, blue-and-yellow will depart for their first friendly match during the March training camp. A charter flight is scheduled to leave Ljubljana at 11:40 CET and will take about one hour and twenty minutes. From the airport, the team will travel by bus to Mönchengladbach and will be accommodated right on the Borussia Park stadium grounds, as there are hotel rooms available in the stands provided by the club "Borussia" for the national team of Ukraine.
For tomorrow, media events with blue-and-yellow have also been planned. On May 10 at 6:30 PM CET (7:30 PM Kyiv time), a press conference by head coach Oleksandr Petrakov and a player will begin. Accredited match journalists can physically attend this media event which will take place in the arena's conference hall.

At the same time, for representatives of mass media who cannot leave Ukraine at this time or have not arrived in Mönchengladbach due to other reasons, a Zoom connection will be organized, thanks to which they can ask questions to participants of the press conference. The link to the Zoom conference will be distributed through UAF's media channels.
Immediately after the press conference (at 7:00 PM CET), an open pre-match training session for national team players will begin, which will be fully accessible to representatives of the media.
