During a working visit to Zhytomyr, the president of the Ukrainian Football Association and head of the UAF Coordination Center, Andriy Pavelko, met with servicemen of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

According to Andriy Pavelko, matches and tournaments in which military teams participate are often more colorful than games of European top clubs. "Because of character, bravery, and clear teamwork," — believes the president of UAF.

Later, representatives of UAF and local authorities also visited a hospital where injured defenders of Ukraine are being treated. Here, the president of the national association also organized a video call with players of the country's main team. "Moments like these always touch the heart: football stars, for whom millions cheer in peacetime, now feel deeply for soldiers who defend Ukraine. They dream to see them on their pitches after our victory, and we will definitely help make that happen," — said Andriy Pavelko.
