Note for your attention — operational information from the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine as of 12.00 on March 30, 2022, regarding the Russian invasion of our country.

The heroic resistance of the Ukrainian people against the Russian military invasion has been ongoing for thirty-five days.

The enemy continues to conduct a full-scale armed aggression against Ukraine. It has suffered significant losses and, likely temporarily, abandoned its mission to block Kyiv. It is regrouping and concentrating efforts on conducting offensive operations in the Eastern Operational Zone. Increasing the system of material-technical and rear support for troops on the Donetsk and Tavriysky directions.

Due to the need to replenish units of the Russian Federation's armed forces that are participating in the war against Ukraine and have suffered severe losses, the enemy's military command continues to direct servicemen from rear units, including from educational institutions.

The personnel composition of the enemy is demoralized and has low motivation for participation in combat actions on Ukrainian territory. For example, according to available information, attempts by Russian military command to mobilize "volunteers" do not have support from the population. In particular, only 17 so-called "volunteers" were gathered in the Kaliningrad region.

On the Volynsky direction, no movements of tactical units of the enemy or changes in their composition have been recorded. Military forces of the Belarusian Republic continue operational and combat preparations.

On the Polesky direction, there is movement of enemy troops along the state border between Ukraine and Belarus. At the same time, the occupation forces are continuing to accumulate in the area around the Chernobyl Nuclear Power Plant, the Shelter object, and the exclusion zone as a whole. For example, movements of mixed columns of enemy equipment from the town of Ivankiv towards the Chernobyl Nuclear Power Plant have been recorded.

On the Northern direction, the enemy is concentrating efforts on conducting subversive-reconnaissance activities, engineering fortification of positions and artillery strikes against units of the Armed Forces of Ukraine and infrastructure objects in the area around Chernihiv city.

On the Brovary direction, partial withdrawal of units from areas occupied by occupiers towards the border with the Russian Federation has been noted.

On the Slovyansky direction, invaders continue to block the city of Kharkiv and inflict artillery strikes on residential quarters of the city.

On the Iziumsky direction, the enemy is reinforcing efforts through the movement of separate units from the 20th Combined Arms Army and the 1st Tank Army from other directions. Continues to inflict rocket-bombardment strikes and artillery shelling.

On the Donetsk direction, the enemy has intensified fire impact and assault actions. Continues to inflict air and missile strikes on populated areas. Main efforts are concentrated on taking control of the cities of Popasna, Rubizhne, and Mariupol.

On the South Buzky direction, the enemy is attempting to use measures to restore combat readiness of its troops, replenish ammunition and fuel-oil materials. Continues engineering fortification of occupied positions. By artillery fire and air strikes attempts to immobilize units of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

Yesterday in the Russian city of Belgorod due to neglect of safety rules and violation of requirements for transporting ammunition, there was an unauthorized detonation of them. The mentioned situation is an example of typical use by Russian servicemen of old dangerous ammunition, including from World War II times. Only yesterday, the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine warned about the threat of self-detonation of ammunition, a huge stockpile of which Russia has installed in the area around the Chernobyl Nuclear Power Plant.

Russia must immediately withdraw its troops from the Chernobyl zone.

Groupings of defense forces continue to conduct defensive operations on the Eastern, South-Eastern and North-Eastern directions.
