In the quarter-finals of the 2022 European Championship, Ukrainians overcame Kazakhstan with a score of 5:3 and advanced to the top four. After the match, one of the goalscorers for our team, Igor Korsun, shared his emotions.

— What does reaching the semi-finals of Euro mean to you personally?

— It's a dream, incredible emotions. We worked very hard for this and finally made it into the semi-finals.

— The game was unpredictable — one moment, another...

— A good game. Kazakhstan is an extremely strong opponent. There was a lot of struggle and emotion. But we managed to win — that's the main thing.

— Where will you find the strength for the semi-finals? Will there be enough emotions?

— I think there will be enough strength and emotion, because this is a European Championship semi-final. Such an event can happen only once in a lifetime — or not at all.

— When did you believe that you could beat Kazakhstan?

— When we were preparing for this match, we believed that we would win and advance to the semi-finals. We worked throughout the entire game, fought, and believed that we would go further.
