The 2025/2026 season will be the first in the history of domestic competitions in the U-19 age category to feature participant rotation based on sporting merit rather than club status.

The UEFA referees committee conducted a series of intermediate seminars and fitness tests for referees throughout the season in October and April. Specifically, similar events have already taken place for UPL referees, the Ukrainian U-19 championship, the National Football Referees School, and the first and second leagues of the PFL. The program for these seminars included physical readiness testing according to FIFA standards and theoretical preparation. It should be noted that all referees successfully passed all checks.

Today, on July 31, the season-2025/2026 in the National League U-19 will begin with matches between «Rukh» and «Poltava», as well as «Kolos» and «Kryvbas».

The 2024/2025 season in the Ukrainian U-19 championship has concluded, and for the second year in a row, the winners are the Kiev «Dynamo» football players under the leadership of Igor Kostyuk.

On Thursday, February 20, the U-19 Ukrainian championship between "Colos" and "Chornomorets" will resume, in which after 17 played rounds "Shakhtar" (49) has pulled ahead of "Dynamo" (44) by five points. "Dynamo" leads "Karpaty" (38) by six points, who in turn are three points ahead of "Colos" (35). Meanwhile, the distance between "Colos" and "Zoria" (27) is more substantial — eight points.

At the end of the first part of the 2024/2025 season in the Ukrainian U-19 championship, we note that only two teams — "Shakhtar" and "Dynamo" — are competing for the main trophy, as was the case last season.

The Committee on Stadiums and Safety of Matches of the UAF has made changes to the lists of stadiums for the VBET Ukrainian Premier League, the Ukraine U-19 Championship, and the first and second divisions of the PFL for the 2024/2025 season, which have already been approved by the Executive Committee of the UAF. After a request from the UPL, taking into account the condition of the stadium and all permits and documentation provided, the "Star" Stadium was added to the list of VBET Ukrainian Premier League stadiums.

At the start of the new season in the Ukrainian U-19 championship, almost all the teams that were among the leaders last season are positioned at the top of the league table.

On August 6, an official ceremony was held at the House of Football to honor the Dynamo Kyiv U-19 team, who, under the leadership of former Ukraine national team player Ihor Kostiuk, won the 2023/2024 U-19 Ukrainian Championship.

Soon, three training camps for referees will take place in Kyiv, who will work on matches of several tournaments of the UPL and PFL.

During the spring part of the 2023/2024 season, Igor Kostyuk's footballers managed to give "Shakhtar" a one-point lead and one game in hand (which could have turned into a four-point advantage).

The winter break in competitions under the auspices of the Ukrainian Premier League is almost over, and today, on February 22, the first match of the spring portion of the Ukraine U-19 championship will take place: "LNZ" will host "Krivbas".

Participants of the 2023/2024 Ukrainian U-19 Championship went on winter break, having played almost all scheduled matches, which under today's unstable circumstances — is a very respectable achievement.

In the Ukrainian U-19 championship for the 2023/2024 season, after six rounds, only one match — between the teams "Vorskla" and "Dnipro-1" — has not taken place, so the league table appears quite complete.

According to the season 2022/2023 results, "Rukh" became the fourth champion of Ukraine U-19 — after "Dynamo", "Metalist", and "Shakhtar".
