U-19 Ukrainian Championship: after six rounds, a quartet of leaders has formed

At the top of the standings, we see the same quartet as in the final table of last season, led by the current champion — "Rukh". The only difference is that "Oleksandria" is second and "Dynamo" is fourth, while at the end of the 2022/2023 season it was the opposite.
Judging by the goals scored and conceded, these four teams will be fighting for the championship title this season. Since they are the only ones scoring an average of between 2 to 3.5 goals per match at the start, while conceding no more than one.
It's worth noting the debutant in the Ukrainian U-19 championship — "Polesia". The team from Zhytomyr under the leadership of experienced coach Serhiy Shyshchenko has earned two points against "Rukh" (1:1) and defeated "Oleksandria" (2:0). However, they still lack experience as the squad was only assembled before the season.
The Oleksandrivtsi (coach — Viktor Bytura) in turn beat "Shakhtar" of Oleksiy Belik (1:0), while "Dynamo" Igor Kostyuk twice drew in their last two matches — with "Veres" (1:1) and "Zorya" (2:2), which almost completely revamped its squad over the summer: players born in 2006 from Dynamo's academy returned to their club, so Luhansk had to conduct a large-scale selection.
After the resumption of the Ukrainian U-19 championship (currently — break for national team matches), we are looking forward to meetings between leaders: "Rukh" — "Shakhtar" (8th round, September 22) and "Dynamo" — "Oleksandria" (9th round, base date — September 29). The teams will lose points, which could be an opportunity for one of the nearest pursuers.
By the way, both representatives of Ukraine in UEFA Youth League, "Rukh" and "Shakhtar", have learned their opponents.
The champion from last season in Lviv will again play in the UYLC in the Champions Path — under a knockout system. In the first stage the opponent of "Rukh" is the debutant in the Youth League, Bosnian "Sarajevo" (matches — October 4 and 25). In the second stage, the winner from our pair will play against the better team between "Famalicao" (Portugal) — "Midtjylland" (Denmark). The matches will take place on November 8 and 29, after which the combined phase of the knockout round will begin — with teams that played in the group stage.
The miners received as opponents youth teams from clubs whose main squads play against "Shakhtar" in the Champions League. This is Portuguese "Porto" (September 19 and December 13), Belgian "Antwerp" (October 4 and November 28) and Spanish "Barcelona" (October 25 and November 7). Two of the four best teams will advance to the group stage.
