Ukraine futsal team roster announced for 2024 World Cup in Uzbekistan
The Ukraine futsal team continues its preparations for the 2024 World Cup, which will take place from September 14 to October 6 in three cities in Uzbekistan — Andijan, Bukhara, and Tashkent.
In preparation for the World Cup, Ukraine’s futsal team played five friendly matches. The team faced Costa Rica (4:0), Cuba (7:0), and the hosts (6:3), Saudi Arabia (8:3), and Libya (2:2). Following these games, the team moved to Kazakhstan for the final stage of their preparations, adjusting to the time zone and climate, and will arrive in Tashkent on September 11.
Meanwhile, FIFA has announced the squad lists for all participating teams.
Ukraine's head coach, Oleksandr Kosenko, will have 14 players at his disposal for the tournament.
