Ukraine futsal team draws with Libya in friendly match
Today, August 30, the Ukraine futsal team played a friendly match against Libya.
Last week, as part of their preparation for the 2024 FIFA Futsal World Cup, the Blue and Yellows triumphed at a tournament in Viseu, Portugal, where they defeated Costa Rica (4:0), Cuba (7:0), and the hosts (6:3). The Ukrainian team continued their training process in Bosnia and Herzegovina, where they previously played a friendly against Saudi Arabia (8:3).
This time, under the guidance of Oleksandr Kosenko, the team faced World Cup participant Libya. The match ended in a 2:2 draw.

The team will next head to Kazakhstan for the final stage of their preparation for the World Cup, adjusting to the time zone and climate, and will arrive in Tashkent on September 11.
The 2024 Futsal World Cup, featuring the Ukrainian team, will be held from September 14 to October 6 across three cities in Uzbekistan — Andijan, Bukhara, and Tashkent. The World Cup squad will consist of 14 players.
