"Wishing health to all Ukrainians!

Today, the entire day was filled with meetings and talks in Argentina. And even more broadly — today, other Latin American countries heard about Ukraine.

I represented Ukraine at the inauguration of the new President of Argentina. I held my first discussions with Javier.

Today on the squares and streets here, many chanted the word «freedom»—libertad, and this is what unites us deeply — Ukraine and Argentina, our peoples who value freedom above all else, their identity, and strive to live with dignity. Javier wants strength for his country and I felt that he yearns for honesty in international relations. I thanked him for supporting Ukraine and invited him to work together with us towards restoring peace. We discussed bilateral cooperation between our countries, which could add economic resilience and job opportunities for our peoples. A good, bright meeting. I sincerely wish Argentina the right decisions and steady growth: may poverty decrease, strength increase, and freedom flourish.

Here in Buenos Aires, I also held talks with leaders of three other countries in the region: Paraguay, Uruguay, Ecuador. We discussed our international work with them and our cooperation.

On the sidelines of the inauguration, I spoke with Hungary's Prime Minister Orban. As openly as possible — and clearly about our European affairs.

Today I also had phone calls with President Macron of France and President von der Leyen of the EU Commission — two conversations. About joint work at the level of the EU and about common defense of Europe. Thankful for their support.

I met with our community in Argentina — those Ukrainians whose roots here go back decades. Grateful for preserving our Ukrainian culture, identity, and language. I am grateful that ties to Ukraine are maintained despite geography and any misfortunes.

Tomorrow and the day after, together with my team, we will be in Washington — planned meetings and talks. President Biden, Congress. Important matters. We use every day, every hour to give more to Ukraine, our people — more opportunities, more protection, more strength.
