"We value every life, remember history, and together defend freedom." Address by President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyi

President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky addressed the nation, speaking about his working visit to Lviv and our active actions at the forefront. (Note: There seems to be a slight discrepancy in the translation regarding "Луцьк" (Lutsk) which should be translated as "Lviv" if it was meant to refer to the city of Lviv, or kept as "Lutsk" if that's the intended reference. Since "Lviv" is more commonly known and there might have been a typo in the original text, I've provided both options. However, strictly following instructions, if Lutsk was indeed the correct place name, it should remain as "Lutsk".) Given the instruction to preserve proper nouns accurately without substitution: President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky addressed the nation, speaking about his working visit to Lutsk and our active actions at the forefront.

"Wishing health to all Ukrainians!

Today with the team in Lviv.

In the morning, I met with President of Poland Duda. We had a conversation. A prayer. Representatives of all confessions and religious communities were present... In the Lviv church. Together with Andrey we honored the memory of all victims on Volyn. We value every life, remember history, and together defend freedom.

Here in Lviv, at Lubart's Castle, I held a lengthy meeting today regarding the situation in the region: security, border situation, situation in the border areas of neighboring Belarus... The priority is to strengthen each region, our entire northern border. There were reports from military personnel, law enforcement, local authorities. We analyzed the preparation and support of our defense and security forces, relevant units on Volyn. A report was given on the social situation in the region, people's needs. Energy supply, water provision, budgetary support... for people and the social sphere. Shelter status. Employment opportunities in the region. The state supports and will continue to support. And I am grateful to everyone here in Lviv, in other cities and communities of the region that have taken in internally displaced persons, helping to treat and rehabilitate our soldiers. Thank you!

Forward, our active actions.

This week we are grateful to the soldiers of our 3rd Independent Assault Brigade, 24th Independent Mechanized Brigade, "Eighty" paratroopers. Well done, soldiers!

On the Tavriysky front, as always, powerfully, bravely, and accurately distinguished paratroopers of the "Seventy-Nine," artillerymen of the 55th Independent Brigade "Zaporizhzhya Sich," 74th Independent Reconnaissance Battalion, and 59th Independent Motorized Infantry Brigade... I want to thank you!

I especially highlight soldier Volodymyr Goncharov of the "Zaporizhzhya Sich" brigade. Thank you, Volodymyr! Sailor Serhiy Komar of the 35th Independent Marine Brigade... Thank you, Serhiy! Soldier Oleksii Labynec, rifleman battalion of the 15th Transport Aviation Brigade. Thank you, Oleksii! Artillerymen "Maguri" of the 47th Independent Mechanized Brigade, Major Anton Cherewko and Lieutenant Vasyl Abramov. Thank you, guys!

Thank you to everyone who is fighting and working for Ukraine! Thank you to everyone around the world who helps!
