To your attention — operational information from the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine as of 06.00 on December 7, 2022 regarding the Russian invasion of our country.

Glory to Ukraine! The two hundred eighty-seventh day of Russia's large-scale invasion has begun.

On the Lyman, Bakhmut and Avdiivka fronts, the enemy is concentrating efforts on conducting offensive operations. On other fronts, it attempts to hold temporarily seized territories, concentrates efforts on restraining units of the Ukrainian Defense Forces, fortifies defensive lines and positions, and conducts reconnaissance.

Over the past day, units of the Ukrainian Defense Forces repelled attacks by occupiers in the areas of the settlements of Bilohorivka in Luhansk Oblast and Verkhnyokamyanske, Spirene, Yakovlivka, Bakhmut, Bila Hora, Kurdyumivka, Novobakhmutivka, Mariinka, and Novomykhailivka in Donetsk.

Over the past day, the enemy carried out 10 rocket and 33 air strikes, conducted 75 shelling operations with multiple launch rocket systems.

As a result of Russian rockets, residential buildings and other civilian objects in the cities of Kramatorsk, Krivoy Rog, as well as the village of Stebne in Zaporizhzhia Oblast were affected.

The threat of enemy rocket strikes on objects of the energy system and critical infrastructure across Ukraine remains.

On the Volyn and Polesie fronts, there are no significant changes in the situation, signs of forming offensive groupings by the enemy have not been detected. On the territory of the Belarusian republic, preparations for enemy units continue on military bases. This country continues to support Russia's military aggression against Ukraine, providing its territory and airspace for missile and air strikes.

Dissatisfaction with the military-political leadership of Belarus among border service personnel and armed forces of this country is growing due to the threat of involving the republic in a war with Ukraine.

On the Northern front, the enemy carried out artillery and mortar shelling of settlements in Hremincha, Chernihiv Oblast, and Esman', Pavlivka, Kindratyvka, Zapyslya, and Myropillya in Sumy.

On the Slobozhansky front, shelling from tanks, mortars, and field artillery was experienced by areas of settlements Strilechya, Krasne, Terova, Ogireve, Staritsya, Gatyshche, Vovchan'ski Khutori, Volohivka, Chugunyvka, and Kam'yanka in Kharkiv Oblast.

On the Kupyansk front, the enemy is conducting defensive operations. Areas of settlements Dvoriche, Kupyansk, Kyslivka, Kotlaryvka, Tabayevka, Krokhmalne, Pishchane, Berestevo, and Pershotravneve in Kharkiv Oblast and Novoselivske and Stehlomakhivka in Luhansk were subjected to fire from tanks and the entire spectrum of artillery.

On the Lyman front, occupiers shelled areas of Makieyevka, Ploschanki, and Nevskiy in Luhansk Oblast and Terniv, Yamopolivki, and Lyman in Donetsk.

On the Bakhmut and Avdiivka fronts, the enemy is concentrating main efforts on conducting offensive operations. Shelling from tanks, mortars, field artillery, and rocket systems was experienced by settlements Bilohorivka, Verkhnyokamyanske, Spirene, Sledar, Bakhmutse, Bakhmut, Klyshyivka, Bila Hora, Kurdyumivka, Druzhba, Zalizne, Avdiivka, Vodyane, Perevomayske, Nevel'ske, Krasnogorivka, Mariinka, and Novomykhailivka in Donetsk.

On the Novopavlivsk front, the enemy is conducting defense. Enemy artillery and mortars fired on areas of settlements Vuhledar, Bogoyavlenska, Prechystyvka, and Zolotaya Niva in Donetsk.

On the Zaporizhzhya front, the enemy is trying to improve tactical positions. Conducted shelling from tanks, mortars, and artillery of more than 10 settlements. Among them — Vremivka and Novopil in Donetsk Oblast and Olhyvskoye, Dorozhnyanka, Hulyaypole, Zaliznychne, Stebove, and Plyavni in Zaporizhzhya.

On the Kherson front, the enemy is defending. Conducted artillery shelling of areas of more than 15 settlements near the line of contact. This includes Osokoryivka, Zolotaya Balka, Dudchani, Antonivka, Bilyhrydove in Kherson Oblast and Kherson and Mykolaiv.

The enemy continues to suffer losses. The number of dead occupiers among mobilized personnel from Kursk Oblast is increasing, as evidenced by local mass media. In addition, due to information about human casualties in the war in Ukraine, fewer young people support it in Russia. Feelings are spreading in the city of Kursk and the region that Ukrainian Armed Forces may invade. As a result, fortification of defensive positions near the border with Ukraine is ongoing.

The aviation of the Defense Forces carried out 22 strikes on areas of personnel concentration, weapons, and military equipment during the past day, as well as four strikes on enemy air defense missile system positions.

Over the past day, our soldiers shot down 14 Shahed-136 attack drones, one Orlan-10 UAV, and two more enemy unmanned aerial vehicles whose type is being clarified.

Units of Ukrainian rocket forces and artillery over the past day hit a command post, three areas of personnel concentration, an area of artillery concentration, and an ammunition depot of occupiers.
