Note to attention — operational information from the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine as of 06.00 on December 2, 2022 regarding the Russian invasion into our country.

Glory to Ukraine! The two hundred eighty-second day of the Russian large-scale invasion has begun.

During the past day, units of the Ukrainian Defense Forces repelled attacks by the occupiers in the areas of Novoselivske, Steblyakhivka, Chervonopopivka and Bihorivka in Luhansk Oblast and Hryhorivka, Viimaka, Bakhmut, Opitne, Klichyivka, Kurdyumivka, Pivnichne, Pereymayske, Krasnyhorivka and Mariinka in Donetsk.

During the past day, the enemy carried out five missile strikes on civilian infrastructure in Kharkiv and Donetsk Oblasts. Conducted 30 air raids on positions of our troops and over 35 artillery attacks with multiple rocket launchers on areas of populated points along the line of contact.

There remains a threat of enemy missile strikes against objects of the energy system and critical infrastructure throughout Ukraine's territory.

On the Volynian and Polesian directions, the situation has not changed significantly, signs of forming offensive groupings by the enemy have not been detected. On the republic’s range in Belarus, preparations for separate units of the enemy continue.

On the Slobozhansky direction, the enemy continues to maintain its troops in border areas of Belgorod Oblast. Enemy artillery shelling affected the areas of populated points Slobidyske, Ogirceve, Bochkove, Mala Vovcha, Budarky, Strel'echa, Terneva, Chugunivka, Dvoriche and Zapadne in Kharkiv Oblast.

On the Kupyansk and Lyman directions, the enemy is on defense. Conducted shelling with tanks and various caliber artillery at the areas of populated points Tabayivka, Kryhmal'ne and Berestove in Kharkiv Oblast; Steblyakhivka, Myasozharivka, Makiyivka and Ploschanka in Luhansk Oblast and Novoselivka and Torske in Donetsk.

On the Bakhmut direction, the enemy continues to concentrate its main efforts on conducting offensive actions. Shelling with tanks, mortars, field artillery and rocket artillery affected objects in the areas of populated points Andriyivka, Serbyryanka, Verkhnyokamyanske, Druzhba, Spirene, Rozdolivka, Bihorivka, Yakovlivka, Pivnichne, Soledar, Bakhmutse, Bakhmut, Kurdyumivka, Klichyivka, Zalizne and New York in Donetsk.

On the Avdiivsky direction, occupiers are trying to improve their tactical position. Artillery shelling with tanks and various types of artillery affected areas of Avdiivka, Pereymayske, Veseloye, Krasnyhorivka and Mariinka in Donetsk.

On the Novopavlivsky direction, the enemy is on defense. Shelled with artillery the areas of populated points Vremyvka, Velyka Novosilka, Bogoyavlennya, Paraskoviyivka, Zolota Niva, Prechystivka, Vugledar and Pavlivka in Donetsk.

On the Zaporizhzhia direction, the enemy is conducting defensive actions. Areas of Nikopol, Kamianske, Hulyaypole, Dorozhnyanka, Bihoryr'ya in Zaporizhzhia Oblast and Illichka in Dnipropetrovsk were affected by artillery fire.

On the Kherson direction, the enemy is also on defense. Artillery impact was felt in areas of populated points located on the right bank of the river Dnipro, including Kachkarivka, Tokaryvka and Antonivka in Kherson Oblast. The enemy does not stop shelling the outskirts and city of Kherson.

On temporarily occupied territory in Kherson Oblast, the enemy has strengthened filtration measures. In particular, at checkpoint points for entry and exit from the city of Henichesk, occupiers check all transport means, documents and phones of local residents.

On temporarily occupied territory of the Autonomous Republic of Crimea, military commissariats' collaborators are preparing for another wave of mobilization. According to available information, in Kerch city, data verification of persons subject to military obligation on state enterprises is being conducted.

The aviation of the Defense Forces carried out 19 strikes during the past day against areas of concentration of personnel reserves, weapons and military equipment, as well as three strikes against positions of enemy air defense missile systems.

During the past day, our soldiers shot down one UAV of type "Orlan-10". In addition, units of rocket troops and artillery damaged four command points, area of concentration of personnel reserves and military equipment, as well as five other important objects of the occupiers.
