Note for your attention — operational information from the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine as of 06.00 on November 18, 2022 regarding the Russian invasion of our country.

Glory to Ukraine! The two hundred sixty-eighth day of the Russian large-scale invasion has begun.

The enemy is concentrating efforts on restraining the actions of the Defense Forces on certain fronts and continues to arm defensive positions on the left bank of the Dnipro River. At the same time, it carries out offensive operations on the Bakhmutskyi, Avdiivskyi, and Novopavlivskyi fronts. It constantly conducts aerial reconnaissance.

Over the past day, units of the Defense Forces repelled attacks by occupiers in the areas of the populated places of Novoselivske and Steblyakhivka in the Luhansk region and Bilohorivka, Verkhnyokamyanske, Sipyntseve, Opitne, Pereymayiske, Vodyane, and Novomykhailivka in the Donetsk region.

The enemy does not cease shelling our troops' positions and populated areas near the line of contact. Over the past day, Russian aggressors inflicted five air strikes and 27 missile attacks, carried out over 50 artillery bombardments from multiple rocket launchers.

Over the past day, civilian infrastructure objects in the populated places of Balakliia and Izium in Kharkiv region; Vyliahnivske in Zaporizhzhia region; Dnipro and Nikopol on Dnipropetrovshchyna; Ochakiv in Mykolaiv region; and Odessa were damaged by missile strikes.

On the Volynskyi and Poleskyi fronts, there have been no significant changes. There remains a threat of enemy missile and air strikes from the territory and airspace of Belarus.

The enemy carried out shelling on other fronts:

on the Severnianskyi front — with mortars and artillery in the areas of the populated places of Hremincha and Senkivka in Chernihiv region, and Horokhy, Seredyna-Buda, Ukrainytske, and Fotovizh on Sumyshchyna;

on the Slobozhanskyi front — with tanks and various types of artillery in the areas of the populated places of Hlibokye, Ohyrceve, Osynove, Starytsia, and Khatne in Kharkiv region;

on the Kupyansk and Lyman fronts — with tanks and all types of artillery in the areas of the populated places of Berestove, Kyslivka, Krokhmalne, Pishchane, and Tabayivka on Kharkivshchyna; Hrykivka, Makieyivka, Nevsko, Steblyakhivka in Luhansk region, and Kolodyazhy in Donetsk region;

on the Bakhmutskyi front — with tanks, mortars, field artillery, and rocket artillery in the areas of the populated places of Andriyivka, Bakhmut, Bakhmutseve, Bilohorivka, Verkhnyokamyanske, Klyshchyvka, Kurdyumivka, Ozaryanivka, Opitne, Mayoriske, New York, Soltar, Spipyntseve, and Yakovlivka in Donetsk region;

on the Avdiyivskyi front — with tanks and artillery in the areas of the populated places of Vodyane, Krasnogorivka, Mariinka, Novomykhailivka, Pereymayiske in Donetsk region;

on the Novopavlivskyi front — with mortars and field artillery in the areas of the populated places of Bozhoyevka, Vremyvoda, and Vuhledar in Donetsk region;

on the Zaporizhzhia front — with mortars in the areas of the populated places of Zaliznytsianyi, Mali Shcherbakiv, and Shcherbakiv in Zaporizhzhia region;

on the Kherson front — with field artillery and rocket artillery in the areas of the populated places of Antonivka, Otradokamianska, and Chornobaivka on Khersonshchyna.

In the Belgorod region, active recruitment of workers from industrial enterprises into the private military company "Wagner" has begun. Thus, by agreement with the management of the Oskol Electrometallurgical Plant, workers of conscription age will be mobilized for military service on the basis of the PWC "Wagner" within a term of 30 days with retention of wages. The recruitment is planned to be carried out in batches of 25% of the specified category of employees from the plant. After completion, participants will be offered to sign a contract with the private military company.

Due to significant losses in personnel and insufficient medical staff in enemy units on Ukrainian territory, by order of the so-called Ministry of Health Care, medical facility workers in the region are obligated to enter into military service for further staffing of vacant positions.

Over the past day, the Armed Forces of Ukraine shot down four cruise missiles, two guided air-to-surface missiles, and five "Shahed-136" drones.

Ukrainian units of rocket forces and artillery over the current day hit four command points, 22 areas of concentration of manpower, weapons, and military equipment, six ammunition depots, and four other important targets of the occupiers.
