The Football Association of England announced that the Euro-2024 qualifying match between England and Ukraine, scheduled for Sunday, March 26, 2023, will take place in London at Wembley Stadium. The kickoff is set for 17:00 local time (19:00 Kyiv time).

For the Ukrainian national team, this will be their first match in the qualifying cycle since they missed the first round on March 23. On that day, Italy will host England while North Macedonia faces Malta.

Group B: Netherlands, France, Ireland, Greece, Gibraltar.

Group C: Italy, England, Ukraine, North Macedonia, Malta.

Group D: Croatia, Wales, Armenia, Turkey, Latvia.

Group E: Poland, Czech Republic, Albania, Faroe Islands, Moldova.

Group F: Belgium, Austria, Sweden, Azerbaijan, Estonia.

Group G: Hungary, Serbia, Montenegro, Bulgaria, Lithuania.

Group H: Denmark, Finland, Slovenia, Kazakhstan, Northern Ireland, San Marino.

Group I: Switzerland, Israel, Romania, Kosovo, Belarus, Andorra.

Group J: Portugal, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Iceland, Luxembourg, Slovakia, Liechtenstein.

The two best teams from each group will earn spots in the final tournament featuring 24 teams, with Germany already guaranteed a place. Three additional slots will be decided through playoff matches of the Nations League on March 21 and 26, 2024.

Playoff Format

The Nations League/Euro-2024 playoffs will be held in a knockout format (two semifinals and a final) across three tiers — Leagues A, B, and C. If the group winner of a league has already qualified for Euro-2024 through this tournament's qualification process, their place in the playoffs goes to the next highest-ranked team in that division. If there are fewer than four teams remaining in a league who can play playoff matches, the spot will be awarded to the next lower league based on overall Nations League ranking (the best team from League D takes priority). Thus, each of the three playoffs will have its own winner, who will become a participant in Euro-2024.

The draw for the final tournament of the European Championship will take place in December 2023, and the event itself will run from June 14 to July 14, 2024.
