Italy national team coach Roberto Mancini commented on today's draw for the qualification round of the 2024 European Championship in Germany.
Today, the draw for the Euro-2024 qualification took place at the Festhalle in Frankfurt am Main. By the draw's decision, Ukraine has been placed in Group C along with Italy, England, North Macedonia, and Malta.
The results of the draw were commented on for the official website of the Italian Football Federation by Italy's national team coach Roberto Mancini.
"Matches between Italy and England are now classics, I think this will be a good match. A rematch with North Macedonia? We had one of those matches that happen from time to time, but what happened in Palermo shows that every game, even the simplest ones, needs to be played until the end. The special duel will be against Ukraine, there will be plenty of emotions in it. Besides, Ukraine has a good team."— said Roberto Mancini.
