The women's national handball team of Ukraine will play their matches in the main round of qualification for the 2023 European Championship in Poznań, Poland from October 19 to 22 this year.

The final stage of the Euro-2023 women's handball championship is scheduled for March 2023. The qualification cycle will consist of two stages as before. The preliminary round took place from May 10 to 14, and the main round with participation of sixteen strongest teams will take place from October 19 to 23. Four group winners will advance to the final stage.

The women's national handball team of Ukraine will start their journey in the main round where they will face Poland, Croatia and the winner of Group A from the preliminary round, which were the Netherlands. It should be noted that due to Russian aggression, UEFA moved the matches of this quartet to Poland.

As reported by the press service of the Ukrainian Handball Association, the group 2 matches of the main round will take place in Poznań, Poland on October 19, 20 and 22.
