Note to your attention — operational information from the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine as of 06.00 on August 14, 2022, regarding the Russian invasion into our country.

Glory to Ukraine! The one hundred seventy-second day of heroic resistance against Russia's military aggression has begun.

On the Volynian, Polesian, and Northern Directions there have been no significant changes in the situation. In the latter, units of the Western Military District are being rotated. The enemy continues to shell border villages with field artillery from Russian territory.

On the Kharkiv Direction occupiers continue fire strikes with field and rocket artillery along the line of contact, supporting a high intensity of aerial reconnaissance by UAVs.

The enemy attempted to conduct combat reconnaissance in the area of the village of Pitomnik but was unsuccessful, suffered losses, and retreated. Carried out air strikes near Peremoha, Rytischevka, and Pitomnik. Employed measures for logistical support of units and replenishment of losses.

On the Slovyansk Direction the enemy carried out fire strikes with tanks and rocket artillery near Brachkivky, Bogorodichne, and Dolyna. In the area of Dolyna attempted to break through our units' defense. The senseless assault was repelled by Ukrainian soldiers.

On the Donetsk Direction the enemy shelled our units with tanks, field artillery, and rocket artillery. Conducted aerial reconnaissance by UAVs aimed at identifying logistics routes and critical infrastructure targets.

On the Kramatorsk Direction Russian occupiers carried out air strikes near Spirne. Attempted combat reconnaissance in the area of Seriybranka, after receiving fire from our soldiers retreated. Enemy attempted to improve tactical positions near Spirne with assault actions but was unsuccessful and withdrew. Fighting continues around Ivan-Daryivka.

On the Bakhmut Direction enemy shelled civilian infrastructure in populated areas and positions of the Defense Forces from artillery and tanks. Carried out air strikes near Solohar and Veselyy Dolyan. Conducted tactical-level aerial reconnaissance by UAVs. Attempted combat reconnaissance near Solohar, received fire and retreated. Enemy carried out offensive actions around Zaytseve but was unsuccessful and withdrew. Fighting continues.

On the Avdiivka Direction, in addition to shelling populated areas with artillery, occupiers carried out air strikes near Mariinka. The enemy continued aerial reconnaissance by UAVs. Carried out assault actions towards Krasnogorovka and Pisky but was unsuccessful and withdrew. Fighting continues around the village of Perevmyk.

On the Novopavlovsk and Zaporizhzhia Directions occupiers do not cease shelling along the line of contact with field and rocket artillery, as well as tanks. The enemy used aviation near Prychystivka and Vuhledar. Conducted tactical-level aerial reconnaissance by UAVs. Attempted combat reconnaissance near Prychystivka but after receiving fire retreated. Carried out an offensive in the area of Pavlivka, fighting continues. Deployed and actively uses electronic warfare systems.

On the Southern Bug Direction main efforts of the enemy are focused on holding occupied positions. The enemy continues aerial reconnaissance by UAVs. Carried out shelling with field and rocket artillery as well as tanks along the entire line of contact.

In the waters of the Black Sea and Azov Sea the naval group of the enemy continues to carry out tasks in support of ground troops and blocking the northwestern part of the Black Sea.

There is a threat of missile strikes on critical infrastructure targets within Ukraine's territory.

Ukrainian rocket-artillery units are carrying out fire tasks against enemy command posts, concentrations of equipment, and field ammunition depots. Russian occupiers' losses are being clarified.
