President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky addressed the nation, speaking about the need to block Russia's nuclear industry and about the hottest spots on the front line.

"Ukrainians! Ukrainian women!

I especially want to address today the residents of Nikopol, Mariupol, Enerhodar, Kryvyi Rih, Zaporizhzhia and all other cities and communities in Dnipropetrovsk and Zaporizhzhia regions.

Occupants are trying to extremely cynically scare people by using the Zaporizhzhia nuclear power plant. They actually use the station as cover to shell Nikopol and Mariupol. They stage constant provocations with shelling of the territory of the AES and try to bring additional forces to this direction in order to further blackmail our state and the entire free world.

If anyone there in Russia thinks that it will give them something, they are mistaken. Russian blackmail only mobilizes even more global efforts against terror. Each day of the Russian contingent's presence on the territory of the Zaporizhzhia AES and adjacent areas of our country increases the radiation threat to Europe so much that such was not seen even at peak moments during the Cold War.

Of course, there must be a strong reaction. Ukrainian diplomats and representatives of partner states will do everything to ensure that new sanctions against Russia definitely block Russia's nuclear industry.

And absolutely all officials of the state-terrorist, as well as those who help them in this blackmail operation with the nuclear station, must answer before international courts. This is inevitable. And every Russian military man who either shoots at the station or shoots under cover of the station should understand that they become a special target for our intelligence, for our security services, and for our army.

I am especially grateful to everyone who defends this direction, who withstands the pressure of Russian terrorists and protects Ukraine and the world from the nuclear threat created by occupiers. I am grateful to all our energy workers who support the stable operation of Ukraine's power system and the Zaporizhzhia station itself.

And we are doing everything possible to restore calm, security, not only in this part of our country but also for all other cities and regions of our beautiful Ukraine.

Fierce battles continue in Donbas. The hottest points on the front line at this direction have remained unchanged - Avdiivka, Mariinka, Pisky, Bakhmut and the entire corresponding sector. Russia has sent there a simply colossal amount of its military resources - artillery, equipment, people. All our defenders and defenderesses there are true heroes.

Kharkiv region - Ukrainian defense is strong, and attempts by occupiers to attack constantly fail.

The fight in the south of the country brings good news about the destruction of forces and means of the Russian army. No day is lost - we reduce the potential of the occupier.

It is very important that the export grain initiative is yielding results. Since its implementation, 16 ships with grain have already sailed from Ukrainian ports for seven countries on three continents. This is Europe, Asia, Africa. On board almost half a million tons of agricultural products: corn, wheat, sunflower oil, soy and other goods absolutely necessary for the world market.

This has already allowed to reduce the sharpness of the food crisis, given some hope to countries - consumers of our agricultural products. And in the long term it may help completely resolve the global food crisis. Of course, if partners ensure the safe implementation of the initiative and do not allow Russian provocations or terror at sea or against our ports.

The first ship has already arrived for loading under the World Food Program - this is grain supply, including for Ethiopia, where the situation with hunger is especially severe. Now the ship is preparing to depart from the "Southern" port.

For Ukraine, this brings significant benefits. In just over two weeks from three of our ports - "Odessa", "Mykolaiv" and "Berdyansk" - it was possible to export such a volume that equals all agricultural exports by road in July and more than two-thirds of the exports by rail last month.

I want to emphasize again: this is work for our people, these are funds needed for our sowing next year, and these are revenues of our state budget.

To increase economic activity - this is an essential element of the path to victory.
