The World Beach Soccer Federation (BSWW) has updated the rankings of national teams after the men's and women's World Cup-2022, which took place from July 21 to 23 on the Canary Islands, and after the EuroLeague-2022 in Division B, held from July 27 to August 1 in Moldova. The official website of BSWW announced this.

The women's national beach soccer team of Ukraine participated in the first-ever Women's World Cup and secured third place at the tournament. Under Yuri Klimenko, the team lost to England (1:6) and Spain (1:5), but defeated Czech Republic (9:5). This result allowed Ukraine's women's team to climb seven places in the BSWW world ranking. Now our team is ninth with 180 points, trailing Paraguay by 45 rating points.

On the other hand, our men's national team has slightly weakened its positions. Under Mykola Kostenko, the team dropped one spot compared to last month and now stands at 17th in the BSWW world ranking with 753 points. They are eight points behind the United States.

We remind you that the next tournament for our men's and women's national teams will be the second stage of qualification for the EuroLeague-2022 Super Final. It is worth noting that for men, this also serves as a qualifier for the 2023 European Games in Krakow. The matches will take place from September 6 to 9.
