At the V. Bannikov NTK under the patronage of the Ukrainian Football Association and the Coordination Center of the UAF, a charity tournament dedicated to Children's Day took place.

A charity tournament in honor of Children's Day took place at the V. Bannikov Sports Complex under the patronage of the Ukrainian Football Association and the Coordination Center of the UFA.

The competition was attended by children's teams from FC "Benfica", DYSK "Athlete", DYSK "Borodianka", and MFK "Brovary". According to the tournament results, first place went to DYSK "Athlete", second place to "Benfica", third place to DYSK "Borodianka", and fourth place to football players from MFK "Brovary".

The award ceremony was attended by first vice-presidents of the UFA Oleg Protasov, Anatoliy Demianenko and Vadim Kostyuchenko, head of the Luhansk Oblast Football Association Igor Shopin, as well as football stars Vasyl Rat and Vladyslav Vasyuk.

All participants received gifts, memorable prizes and balls from the UFA. However, three teams decided to donate their balls to young football players from DYSK "Borodianka" as a sign of solidarity and support for those who were forced to leave their homes to escape Russian occupiers.

As Oleg Protasov noted at the award ceremony, such tournaments are particularly important now: "These competitions are necessary to demonstrate that we are strong, that we continue to develop football, and that we care about children and help them forget the horrors of war."

In turn, Vadim Kostyuchenko said that the UFA decided to organize this tournament as soon as it became possible under current difficult conditions: "We clearly understand the importance of such events for children and football in Ukraine as a whole. In times of war, it is especially important to appreciate these moments, care about children, and give them as many positive emotions as possible. This is also an excellent opportunity to greet little ones on Children's Day. I congratulate all participants on their success and wish them peace and a bright future!"
