Euro 2022 (WU-19): Ukraine's women's youth national team is fighting for relegation avoidance in Group A

In the opening match of Group A4, which Austria hosts, Ukraine lost to Norway (0:5). The Ukrainian team then traveled to the city of Bad Vösendorf-Niederdorf for their second game against the home team.
The Austrian side managed to score an early goal — Pfanner scored a spectacular shot under the crossbar from long range in the 15th minute. Near the end of the first half, the hosts had opportunities to increase their lead, but Boklach parried Fuchs' penalty kick, incidentally saving her second consecutive penalty. Just before halftime, Kracker hit the post with a shot from outside the box.
The second half was dominated by Ukraine's efforts under Valeriy Palamarchuks guidance. On the 58th minute, Ukraine had an opportunity to equalize when Semkiv missed high from a good position. Later on, the goalkeeper of Austria held off shots from Glushchenko and Khristyuk. In the end, Austria maintained their narrow lead, thus eliminating our girls' chances of advancing to the finals.
In the final match, which will take place in Bad Vösendorf-Niederdorf on May 16th, Ukraine will face Bulgaria. To retain their status in League A, a draw would be sufficient for our team.

EURO-2022 (WU-19). Final tournament
Six group winners from League A at the end of the second round (England, France, Germany, Italy, Spain, Sweden) joined the host nation, Czech Republic, in the final stage which will take place from June 27 to July 9. The eighth participant will be the winner of Group A4. The draw for the final tournament will take place on May 18.
A league changeover will also occur, which will be relevant for the first round of the UEFA Euro 2022/23 (WU-19). The bottom teams in League A will lose their elite status.
