The 33rd edition of the national Cup began with a preliminary round involving First League teams. The winner of this stage joins representatives from the First and Higher Leagues in the Round of 16.

At each stage, a draw is held to determine match-ups. The home team is the one playing in the lower-ranked league. If teams from the same league face off, the home team is the one with an odd number during the draw.

All stages of the Ukrainian Cup consist of a single match. In case of a tie, the winner is determined by penalty kicks.
