The main participants of the event were students from grades 5–6 in six rural gymnasiums of the community. Often, children in rural areas lack large-scale sports events, so the festival became a wonderful opportunity for schoolchildren to feel part of a big football family, make new friends, and gain unforgettable experiences.

The festival took place on the football field of the city stadium "Kolos," which turned into a real territory of activity, joy, and team spirit for the day. After warming up, participants worked at six thematic locations:

  • Football relays — children improved their ball-handling skills, speed, and agility;
  • Team-building games — sports united schoolchildren from different corners of the community into one friendly team;
  • Safety and psychological support — participants discussed safety rules, a healthy lifestyle, and emotional release (the psychological part was moderated by the practical psychologist of the project, Nadia Shkorbetska).

"Open football lessons" are not just sports and competitions, but primarily support for children, joy from playing, communication, and a sense of unity.

No one went home without gifts and bright impressions. Each educational institution received sets of sports equipment and branded T-shirts, so that physical education classes in rural schools become even more interesting, and all participants — memorable diplomas and sweet treats.
