The Ukrainian Football Association jointly with the State Scientific Institution "Institute of Content Modernization in Education" of the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine announces the start of the All-Ukrainian competition "Football Teacher of the Year" — 2026 for physical education teachers at general secondary educational institutions.

The competition is held to implement the Agreement between the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine and the Ukrainian Football Association on introducing educational programs and projects of school football in general secondary educational institutions of Ukraine for 2026–2030.

The goal of the competition is to support and honor physical education teachers who implement modern approaches to teaching, promote football, and form an interest in active and healthy lifestyles among students.

Based on the results of the competition, a top five finalists and laureates will be determined. At the end of 2026, they are planned to be invited to Kyiv for participation in the final and official ceremony.
