In the first round of team selection, Yelyzaveta Andrushchak awaits a two-match series (away and home) against Slovakia. In case of success, in the second playoff round, "blue-and-yellow" will face the winner of the Greece-England pair (home and away).

In the women's European qualification playoffs, 32 teams participate, playing two rounds of two-match series (home and away).

While four League A winners (Denmark, France, Germany, and Spain) qualified directly to the final stage in Brazil, which will take place from June 24 to July 25, 2027, seven other spots from Europe, as well as one slot in the intercontinental playoff scheduled for February 2027, will be contested in matches held in October and November/December 2026.

Round 1. Path 1

Teams that secured second and third places in League A groups will play against six group winners and two of the highest-ranked teams that finished second in League C. The eight winners advance to Round 2.

Round 1. Path 2

Four teams that secured fourth places in League A (including the Ukraine national team) and four group winners from League B formed eight pairs against teams that finished second and third in League B groups.

Teams that secured fourth places in League A, as well as League B group winners were seeded and will play the return matches at home. The eight winners advance to Round 2.

Round 2

In Round 2, teams from both paths form eight pairs. The seven highest-ranked playoff winners in Round 2 qualify directly to the Women's FIFA Confederations Cup 2027 based on their overall league ranking for the women’s European qualification 2026. One remaining playoff winner qualifies directly to the second stage of the intercontinental playoff in February 2027.
